at Kingdom of K-pop & More — Clemmons, NC

With NC K-pop Hive

Attend Virtually Below!

Welcome! Today we are stationed at Kingdom of Kpop & More.

Kingdom, a new store in Clemmons, NC, combines K-pop, romance novels, and baked goods under one roof.

Located at 6000 Meadowbrook Mall Court, Suite 1, it offers a large variety of K-pop items like CDs, DVDs, and merchandise, along with plenty of romance books. The bakery features cookies, brownies, milk bread buns, and more.

Owned by Deidre Williams, her daughters Kaitlyn and Haelee, and family friend and “adopted” daughter, Morgan Dial, the store grew from their shared love of K-pop and reading. Deidre, a baker for over 20 years, said the idea came from the family’s frustration with the lack of local K-pop stores, requiring trips to cities like Raleigh or Charlotte which both require over an hour of driving. Kaitlyn added that many readers, like herself, prefer browsing books in-store.

Kingdom also hosts a community room for cake-decorating classes, events, and workshops. The owners explained, “We combined our passions—K-pop, reading, and baking—to create a welcoming space for everyone. We’ll have K-pop events, book clubs, and baking workshops. After a year and a half of hard work, we’re excited to open in July 2024 and grow with our community!”

Kingdom officially opened on July 27th and has enjoyed bustling weekends ever since. On Friday, September 13th, they hosted their first K-pop idol—South Korea's Choi Kisu (최기수), better known as KISU—during his meet & greet tour. KISU decorated cakes with 15 lucky fans, performed a mini-concert, and even filmed a TikTok video, giving Clemmons fans the exclusive opportunity to be the first to join in on his latest challenge!

As Kingdom continues to thrive, it’s clear that the store is more than just a business—it's a community hub where fans of K-pop, romance novels, and sweet treats can come together and celebrate their shared passions. With a growing lineup of events, workshops, and special appearances, Kingdom is quickly becoming a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Whether you're there to pick up the latest K-pop merch, discover a new favorite book, or enjoy a fresh-baked treat, Kingdom promises a welcoming space for all.

This marks NC Kpop Hive’s first official event! Both online and offline, this is our debut in bringing the community together. NC Kpop Hive was created to support our community, fostering collaborations and connections among businesses, vendors, artists, dance cover crews, and K-pop fans. We’re dedicated to creating unique experiences that emphasize accessibility and inclusion!

At this event, we celebrated XIKERS and BOYNEXTDOOR while trying out new initiatives like free communication cards, sensory kits, sensory-friendly hours, and a community art gallery. None of this would have been possible without your incredible support!

We’d love to hear your thoughts about the event! We’re always learning and growing, and your feedback helps us improve. If you have any comments, ideas, or concerns, please reach out and share them with us. We value and appreciate all of your feedback!
